"I miss you so much that it hurts!"

Sitting at my computer to actually type this out is harder that I thought it would be...and I am on line one. This just may be one of the hardest things I will ever write about...

Yesterday, March 13, 2011, I lost one of my very best friends, and my first love. Cory Jex.

I don't know where to start when describing Cory. He was one of a kind.
Cory was like a human magnet. He attracted people. No matter who they were, or what stupid little cliche they belonged to in high school...they were drawn to him. He had an amazing personality, that made people want to be near him...and to never want to leave.
Cory changed lives in more ways than one. He was always there when I needed him. No matter what the circumstance, I KNEW without a doubt that I could count on him.

My relationship with Cory began my sophomore year of high school, at one of the oh so well known, "Bon Fires". We were quickly great friends and started dating shortly after.
My parents were a little concerned about my new boy because he was a little rebel. Black hair, mo hawk, gauged ears...but like I said before, Cory was a magnet. They loved him almost as fast as I did and they loved having him around.
I instantly LOVED his family. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Michelle went out of her way to make me feel included in things and his grandma was always welcoming. Carly, his sister, knew me from before, but was also so loving. I felt like a part of their family in no time.
Cory and I were inseparable from the beginning. We did everything together. From high school dances to snowmobiling to parties...we did it all.

Cory was such a good sport. He was always down to watch chick flicks with me, or hang out with me and my ditsy friends...just as long as we were together. I shared some of my best memories with that boy.

When Cory and I stopped dating..we didn't miss a beat. We continued on being friends like nothing had ever happened. We still told each other "I love you" at the end of every conversation. We still kissed good night. And he ALWAYS walked me to my car when I was leaving his house.

Cory and I had the best relationship I could ever imagine. Cory listened to me whine about my terrible choice in men to date (after him, of course)...and I listened to his stories about the girls he had been dating. We helped each other through the hard times, and laughed about the good ones.

Over this last weekend, I thought SO much about life. I thought about how fragile it is.
I thought about love, and how blessed we are to feel it. I thought about friendship, and lucky I am to have it with so many amazing people. And last...I thought about losing life, and love, and friendship. It's the most terrible of thoughts, but its reality.

I want to thank Cory for being such a wonderful example to me. He showed me what real love and friendship is all about. He showed me that even in the hardest times of life, you can make someone else's life...a little less hard. He taught me that no matter what religion or beliefs we have..we are all here together, to help each other.

I love you so much Cory! You are an inspiration to SO many people!! You have helped more people than you will probably ever know! And I just wish that you loved yourself half as much as we all do!...because I have never seen someone that is SO loved by so many!!
I will miss you forever and will always carry you in my heart!

Rest In Peace Cory Jex! Not a day will go by when there will not be thoughts and prayers for you! And like you used to say to me...."I miss you so much that it hurts!"

Hello, I'm Bryn. I'm a workaholic.

Monday- My day off...Thank The Heavens! Generally spent with my dad once he wakes up from sleeping after his first graveyard shift of the week.

Tuesday- Play with the two most beautiful little kids I have ever met (Nate and Claire) until about 3 PM.

Wednesday- Roll out of bed at 5AM and open The Junction.

Thursday- My day to play, with Nate and Claire.

Friday- Work at the Junction most of the day.

Saturday- Once again, get out of bed at the crack of dawn to open The Junction. No weekends for me!

Sunday- My day of Rest.

This, plus dance classes that I have been teaching, and elderly people that I have been assisting is the reason that I fell off the blogspot wagon! Sorry for being such a slacker, but the addiction of work took me over! I will be better about it!

My Tiny Dancers!

For the last 6 weeks i have had the
privilege of teaching dance at the Orem
Fitness Center to kids ages 3 to 11. This is my
JOY! I have had so much fun and learned
a lot! We are now preparing for our recital so
the lovely dancers can show off the things
they have learned to their parents.

Yesterday, Dani, my mom and I went to see the Broadway show CATS. It was absolutely amazing and so much fun to spend the day with them. We have become quite the little Broadway freaks ever since we saw Phantom this last summer! We are already searching for some more tickets to a dance performance in Salt Lake, and I am looking for some Wicked tickets that aren't 200 dollars!
Thanks so much for going to the show with me girls! I love you both so much!

Breaking Dawn!

I just finished the fourth book of the Twilight series today! It was by far my favorite of all the books. The author of the Twilight books is in the process of writing a book, from Edwards point of view ( he is the vampire in the book). It will be interesting to see how it does. I am starting another book by the same author called The Host. It is about alien spirits taking over human bodies. It has had mixed reviews, but i really enjoy her writing style.

I recommend the twilight series to anyone! They are great books!

GIRLS NIGHT OUT!

Last night, we had a little girls night out on the town.

As anyone who has kept up with the twilight series knows...book number four came out last night! It is call Breaking Dawn. All across the country they had parties, located in Barnes and Noble stores, that generally started at ten, and went until about 1 am. Each location had a different theme. The theme here in Denton (the closest mall to where i live), it was a wedding reception. They had people dressed up as the characters in the book which made it all the more fun.

We got there at about ten thirty when they had tables set up with people playing chess. At ten forty-five, they held a discussion about the first three books in the series. At eleven thirty, they had a toast to kick off handing out the books. At twelve oh one we were allowed to actually purchase the books.

The party was a blast, and we all had a great time!

The book is amazing! I recommend the series to anyone...even if you're not interested in vampires. I am almost on page 200....of 600 pages. A lot of unexpected things have already happened, and I'm waiting to see what will come next.

Love ya everyone!

My Job!

Hey Everybody!

Just an update on me. I'm still in Texas just doing my thing! I'm working at a dog kennel called Bed Biscuit and Beyond. It is an amazing facility that has a lot to offer. We board (babysit your dogs and cats while you're out of town), groom, train, and offer doggie daycare (babysit your dog while you're at work). Its a great place to work, everyone here loves it. I work mostly in the back with the dogs that we board. I let them out about every four hours or so to potty and i like to get them out and play with them a lot. I am training to work at the front desk now, and i start next Sunday on my own.

There is one dog here that i especially love. He is a total mutt....you can't even pick out what he resembles, but he is beautiful! His name is Shenzie....and i am trying to convince Danny and Sherri (the awesome people i'm residing with) to let me bring him home. He is a little hyper, but very obedient and gentle. I am hoping to start an obedience class with him next month. I will post pictures of him.

Well....that's about it when it comes to my job. I will talk to ya'll later! Love Ya!
